While sorting through old backups and CDs to upload compositions, I came across some film music I wrote in the late 90's. This one is from a short film by Michael Walker, "Letters at Midnight (1996)". Here is the music:
Portrait of an Artist II
Flute & Computer-Realized Sounds, 9'14"
Amy Swanson, flute
This piece was written for a Amy Swanson's senior recital. A PDF of the score is available here.
Parting Tracks
Computer-Realized Sounds, 14'33"
This is another work from college, my second effort in CSound, rendered using a NeXT Cube.
Allusions (1995)
Oboe & Computer-Realized Sounds, 11'59"
Stina Dragovich, oboe
I don't have an electronic copy of this score other than the original files stored on an ancient Powerbook 540c, in an antiquated file format -- Notewriter 2. The best I'm able to do for export is EPS, but then I have to deal with floppies ...
I am starting to upload music I wrote back in college. It's been a long time since I did any serious composition, and I'm not sure I'm going to get back into it. This is as good a start as any, though.
I'm spending some time on the road in the next month, so I should be posting some new images of Montana and Orlando. In the meantime, here are some of my favorite shots of my city, Seattle.

This site has been up since 2002, but has mostly languished during the last six years. Instead of migrating content from the original CMS to the new software, I'm just starting over.
The site did contain a fair amount multimedia (music and video) that I've worked on here and there. I'll do my best to repopulate that as I go, but might not get to everything. If you're looking for something that used to be here, I've moved the original site here, though I don't guarantee that I'll keep it up there forever and will probably neuter the CMS at home point or another.
